The Bad Science Show is a fun and entertaining science incursion for secondary students that explores psuedoscience and critical thinking.  

?Packed full of magic, science and comedy, The Bad Science Show is performed by award-winning science communicator Nicholas J. Johnson. This sixty minute show explores:

  • The Placebo Effect: How swindlers sell bogus medical treatments and why we believe they work.
  • ?Paredolia: Why does the human brain see ghosts, UFOs and other strange things?
  • ?ESP Experiments: How scientists tried to prove mind-reading exists...and got it wrong.
  • ?Force & Pressure: How is it possible to walk barefoot on broken glass.
  • ?Water Divining: Is it possible to find water buried under the ground with just two sticks? And if not, why do so many people believe you can.

?The Bad Science Show is designed to encourage students to apply the lessons of the science classroom to the world around them.
