About:

A visit to your school by our planetarium is an excellent alternative to a school excursion.

Minimal class disruption, curriculum-based programs and cost effectiveness are just some of the advantages of this wonderful learning resource.

SKYWORKS utilises a STARLAB portable Planetarium system. A learning environment that can be brought directly into your school.

Consists of a flame retardant highly reflective fabric.

Inside houses a specialised projector that displays a range of surrounding images.

Supplemented by slide projections of various astronomical images.

Accommodates about 30-35 students, (class size), depending on age.

Geoff Zenner explores the night sky using his planetarium. Information about the Earth, solar system, stars, constellations and the universe is clearly presented in a way which captures the students' interest. The programs are tailored to suit the unit of work currently being studied and the age of students. This very popular program was the recipient of the FRATER AWARD for Excellence within the Performances for Schools Program 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
