1. "That’s Amore!” Solo Music and dance

*Filippo takes you on a musical journey of Italy with the  fisarmonica (accordion) and songs  .From the Tarantella of Calabria to mountain  songs of the north to romantic songs from Naples

* favourites such as Volare, Thats Amore, Finiculi, Marina ,Santa Lucia, Tinterella di Luna , Chicken Dance

*Secondary students learn more backround to the folk songs(cultural, regional  and historical) and study the lyrics.

*Filippo has a rhythm backing and sound system for dancing etc.

*CD song words and 36 page booklet of worksheets supplied.

Filippo is also available for roving around classrooms/school for Carnivale and other events.

2. "I Tarantati" duo with Italian music, theatre and dancer

With voices, accordion, flute, tambourines and the nimble feet of a traditional southern Italian dancer, the troupe will take you on a trip round Italy in song and dance with their magical and funny musical adventures.

3. C'est Si Bon - solo French music show

*Philippe presents a vibrant and colourful journey through the music of regional France.

*learn  regional  dances, such as . Bouree(Auvergne), Lou Pripet (Languedoc), An Dro (Bretagne), Bal Musette (Paris)

* Join in simple folk songs from regional France and other French speaking countries, as well as French jazz, java and popular music .

*Philippe  has a rhythm backing and sound system for dancing etc.

Also available for roving around classrooms for special events.

Using accordion, fife, drum, bombarde, singing and mime.

4. Philippe and Jacques-  duo with French mime, music, theatre

Combining French music, mime, comedy, drama and magic. With audience participation, these experienced performers take students on an hilarious journey of French drama and music. Using accordion, fife, drum, bombarde, singing and mime.

 

 

*The shows have  been run in over 500 schools around Victoria and interstate.
