Mr Anduit Can Do It! is a living book about Ike's very first show and how he deals with his fears and frustrations. Clarence, who is the show's narrator and roadie, speaks only in rhyme and is doing his job for the first time as well and accidentally brings a lot of the wrong equipment that Ike needs for his show. Your students will help Ike find success and put on a great performance using unicycles, hoops, guitars, juggling, a trumpet, puppets, a banjo uke, plenty of rhyme, singing and a touch of failed magic to deliver this fun-filled lesson about coping and getting along in our world today. The show comes with all the bling of a stage production using professional sound and lighting equipment.
Mr Anduit Can Do It! is open for bookings on both Mondays and Tuesdays during the 2013 school year.
Be sure to get in early for 2014!!!!!
Mr Anduit will complement many existing student welfare programs that are in place in schools. The values and attitudes that are explored will assist any student with their journey through life.
This living book will also complement BookWeek celebrations in your school by engaging students with its rhyming narration and clear text structure. What a great springboard into classroom discussions about narratives.
This show is currently available within about a two hour drive of postcode 2265.
Mr Anduit Can Do it! runs for approximately 1hour and needs a 10 minute turn-around time if more than 1 show is required. The show takes between 1 and 1.5 hours to set up and about an hour to pack up depending on how far the equipment needs to be carried. (A close car park with space for a trailer would be very much appreciated.)
We need to be indoors with access to power.
At least 45 m2 of space is needed, but more is ideal. If we are using a stage, some of the space in front of the stage is actually better and safer for parts of the show.
Larger school may require more than one session depending on how much space you have available as well as your needs on the day. Please let us know if your school does have specific needs.
Kindergarten, Primary Stage 1 (Y1-2), Primary Stage 2 (Y3-4), Primary Stage 3 (Y5-6)
