Lucky African Dance Incursion emerses students in the dances of Africa providing both a cultural and physical education experience. Students get fit and have fun while learning about the culture, history, music and movement practices from Africa.

Lucky African Dance offers Traditional African, Afro-Contemporary and Gumboot Dance Workshops to school students providing them with an opportunity to experience and learn about African culture while getting to sing and to dance. Dance workshops engage students in exploring the songs and meaning behind the dances and to learn more about African rhythm and movement practices.

African dance is an excellent approach to fitness and health and provides an interactive and engaging way for students to learn and practice their coordination using choreography and repetitive movements. Students will also sing as part of the workshop. This workshop can be delivered using live percussion or pre-recorded music. The workshop can be conducted for 30-90 minutes depending on students requirements.
