Healthy Heroes?? - Because we all need healthy role models!

Captain Healthy is a genuine hero the kids will love. Captain Healthy turns kids to Healthy Heroes by sharing his healthy ways. They will learn to save their own life through newly learned fun and healthy habits!

The children will love the challenges they are given as Captain Healthy engages the students through story telling, dance, songs, games and exciting healthy information.

What the children will learn about:

Natural Food -

Vitamins and Nutrients contained in food groups and how they help our bodies. (Information will be age appropriate).

Exploring natural food through movement and music.

Movement and Stillness -

A story that includes lots of balancing, starting and stopping, listening, fluidity more

Gratitude, Kindness and Friendship -

Sitting in a sharing circle the healthy hero and reflect on the key elements of the previous story. We practice and introduce concepts like healthy communication, effective listening, self care and how best to continue to care for our environment and those who we share it with.

The Fruit Salad Bowl -

To further instil the values of the Healthy Hero we create and eat a fruit salad with the fruit the children will been ask to bring to share.

(Allergies will be catered for.Children will be required to bring a bowl, spoon and a piece of fruit.)

We will give thanks to Mother Earth creating a deepening our relationship with the place our food comes from.

The children will feel extra special having the opportunity to eat with Captain Healthy and be empowered to become Healthy Heroes in their community.
