The Bounce Back workshop is a fun and engaging incursion to equip students with practical tools to become resilient. Through interactive games, activities, discussion, stories and multi-media, we encourage students to think optimistically, seek support when needed and tackle life's challenges in a healthy way.

Workshop Details:

  • Suitable for primary and secondary school students
  • We offer a range of options from a single session to a full-day retreat for either a single class, year level or the whole school
  • Tailored to suit your school's specific needs, timetable and budget
  • Delivered by qualified and experienced teachers
  • Each session includes a variety of games, music, interactive activities and multi-media and is aligned to the Australian Curriculum
  • Follow-up material is provided for teachers

Key Concepts Covered:

The following are messages we want students to learn:

  • Being resilient is a skill I can learn
  • We need to cope in healthy ways when problems are challenging
  • Good community is a big protective factor
  • We all need supports and I can be a great support to others
  • Having strong values can help the decisions we make
  • Our ability to problem-solve, think optimistically, identify real problems and set realistic goals are important skills
  • There are 4 important factors that help us to be more resilient - we need to strengthen these and help others to do the same
