Rock Academy Melbourne is a school holiday program that helps develop the skills of teen musicians, aged 13-18. Forming bands you are given guidance by some of Australian &  Melbourne's leading professional musicians.

Recent Mentors include:

  • Phil Ceberano (kate Ceberano Band, Trentwood, Sexual Chocolate, James Reyne)
  • Kav Temperley (Eskimo Joe)
  • Ash Davies (The Models and a heap more)
  • Karina Utomo (High Tension, Young & Restless)

Composite bands prepare cover songs and co-write original songs to be performed in front of family and friends at the final performance.

Rehearsal and mentoring sessions will take place at well known Bakehouse Studios in Richmond.

Rock Academy normally runs through the last week of school holidays. The program runs Monday - Thursday, 10am - 4pm, with the performance live on stage at The Central Club Hotel on the Friday between 7 and 9pm.

There is limited space for each program and we accept drummers, singers, bass guitarists, keyboard / piano players and guitarists.

As a school if you are interested in developing an after school program with us we would love to discuss.
