Ignite a passion for reading and writing with an exciting workshop from award-winning author, illustrator and educator Dr Cameron Stelzer.

Cameron has worked with over 900 schools throughout Australia, bringing a wealth of experience, passion and creativity to the classroom. There are a range of curriculum-relevant workshops to engage all K/P-6 classes, including Exciting Descriptive Writing, Imaginative Illustration, and Lights, Camera, Action! Incursions can include workshops to fit with a unit of work (e.g. developing setting and characters, then planning and writing a narrative / short story). Creative Writing incursions can also take the form of Cameron working with a group of students for a full day. What better way to demonstrate the importance of written communication than with a real life author in the classroom! With a good dash of humour, excitement and enthusiasm, Cameron’s workshops engage extension students, and help reluctant writers find their voice.

Cameron is dedicated to making the visits affordable to all schools. The total cost per school day is $799 + GST. Visits include 3-4 workshop sessions throughout the day (each workshop session can engage 60-400 students depending on the workshop chosen). There are no additional costs for travel or accommodation on Cameron’s organised tours throughout Australia.
