Schuhplattler Volkstanz (VIC)

This high energy performance allows students to test their coordination and stamina with intricate Schuhplattler (slap dancing) steps. The interactive workshop includes practical demonstrations of German dances to traditional German music and is suitable for both primary and secondary audiences.

Tirol Dancing (NSW)

Join Rowan for an incredible performance of high energy, intricate Bavarian folk dances. They will demonstrate various German and Austrian traditional dances such as the Waltz, Polka and Zwiefacher. Students will also have the chance to learn how to do the energetic Schuhplatter - the famous German slap dance.

Fire of Flamenco (VIC, NSW, QLD, SA)

With her long flowing dress and castanets, our Flamenco dancer will impress students with her intricate footwork, while they help keep the special Flamenco beat with palmas (handclapping). This program will teach students how this unique Andalusian gypsy music and dance style has evolved and will have everyone on their feet shouting “Olé!”

Chinese Traditional Dance (VIC)

Join Yaoqian Guo for an interactive and educational traditional Chinese dance workshop.  With over 10 years professional teaching and dance training with one of China's premier dance schools, Yaogian will showcase traditional dances including Fan dance, Lantern dance, Mongolian dance, Tibetan dance, Korean dance and Classical Ribbon dance.

Asian Dance (QLD)

Immerse your students in the sights and sounds of Asia! Students will see Korean masks, Vietnamese drums, Chinese fans, monster bamboo sticks of South East Asia, and a Samurai martial arts display form Japan! The presenters provide background information and teach greetings from each culture. A fun, interactive and educational program showcasing the best of Asian culture!

Chinese Lion Dance (VIC, NSW, QLD)

The Chinese Lion Dance brings good fortune, prosperity and longevity whenever performed! As well as gaining an insight into an ancient culture, students will love the vibrancy, energy and music of the Chinese Lion dance, an art form that dates back to the 12th century.

Classical Indian Dance (VIC, QLD, SA)

Immerse your students in the mystical culture of ancient India, as they learn the movements of a classical dance from the South of India to the sound of classical instruments and Sanskrit chants. An educational experience suitable for all ages and abilities, students will love the colourful costumes and jewellery and be in awe as the most intricate movements are made to seem effortless.

Bollywood Infusion (VIC, NSW, QLD, SA)

Bollywood Infusion cheerfully disregards the boundaries between classical Indian folk dance and popular contemporary styles. Students will love the movement and music of this high-energy program. Suitable for all ages and abilities, students will learn a fun Bollywood routine and the traditional meanings behind its key movements.

Hip Hop Infusion (VIC, NSW, QLD, WA, SA)

Explore Urban Street Dance and get a sneak peek into the high-energy, varied and vibrant world of Hip Hop!  Students will see a highly skilled dance showcase of moves and grooves before taking part to an interactive and exciting workshop! They will be introduced to beginners Hip Hop routines, and will learn about the importance of timing and style.

Latin Dance Fiesta (VIC, NSW, QLD, WA, SA)

Introduce your students to the fiery and fantastic Latin dance styles. This incursion enables students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to experience the exciting rhythms and movement of Central America with ever popular styles like the Salsa, Merengue and Cha. It will get everyone on their feet and dancing to the beat!

Cool Capoeira (VIC, NSW, QLD, WA, SA)

Capoeira is a unique African-Brazilian art form that fuses dance, acrobatics, music and song into an exciting high-energy combat-dance! Originally developed by slaves, Capoeira is a complex martial art discipline disguised as dance. Students will love keeping the beat as the Capoeiristas display their energy and athleticism.

Tribal Belly Dance (SA)

A unique and mesmerising form of belly dance drawing from styles across the world. This interactive incursion will have students up and dancing, marveling at the decadent costumes and learning the significance belly dance has to so cultures.  This style proves that dance is a language in and of itself, a standalone cultural experience.

Middle Eastern Infusion (VIC, NSW, QLD, WA, SA)

Introduce your students to the mysterious and exotic world of the belly dancer. Students will love the colour and movement of this high-energy program. Suitable for all ages and abilities, students will learn a fun belly dance routine and the traditional meaning behind some of its movements.

Bellydance for Positive Body Image (VIC) New Program in 2015

Belly dance is a great way for young women to start the process of building positive body image through dance in a fun, gentle and non-confrontational way. Students are asked to refrain from comparing themselves to other class members and to tune into how they feel about their bodies and why. By tuning into their own bodies, students can start to build healthy self-respect. A wonderful program to introduce positive body image, confidence and respect for oneself and others.

Kinder Hip Hop  (VIC) - New in 2018

An interactive workshop specially adapted for pre-schoolers where they can experience and explore, rhythm, dance and movement. They will learn musicality, coordination and exercise their imagination in an energetic and fun setting.

Kia Ora Kapa Haka (VIC) - New in 2018

Story telling, Haka Maori wardance, Kapa Haka performing traditional action songs, poi and stick games, Ancient Maori Weaponry, Reverse roll teaching and language courses, Professional Development, Fun activities that improve hand eye and foot coordination.
