Would your school like the chance to gain deeper insight, empathy and understanding into another person’s journey?
Our speakers are social justice advocates who come from diverse backgrounds, communities and cultures.
They’ll share with you their personal experiences of:
- seeking asylum and refugee settlement in Australia,
- homelessness,
- human trafficking,
- social injustice
and much more......
Within a social justice theme, we also offer:
- cultural awareness and sharing sessions,
- Community Leadership workshops,
- lunchtime music concerts, and
- Hip Hop/ rap writing workshops
Our speakers tailor their presentations to the age of the students. Common themes include resilience, courage, empathy, leadership, empowerment, social justice, diversity and cultural awareness.
And just like our speakers, every presentation is different. Some presentations involve music or other artistry. All involve a personal story and a call to action for each member of the audience to contemplate.
All presentations for schools link to the Australian curriculum.
Our speakers present to all year levels and can do single or extended sessions. The program is physically based in Melbourne, however presentations can be delivered face to face or online using the school's preferred online platform.
