Harp's a Breeze - Harmonica Workshops

Overview

Harp’s a Breeze proudly offers one of the most exciting Australian school incursions, designed specifically for the education system. These incursions teach students all about the complexities of our favourite little instrument, the harmonica!

Students participate in harmonica-based aural & rhythmic games which promote dance and body percussion as they embark on an exciting journey through melodic and textural harmonica playing. The Harp's a Breeze exercises incorporate deep-breathing techniques which prove to be extremely beneficial for the health and well-being of students. Within these energetic incursions, the harmonica’s simplicity allows students to build their musicality with rapid progression.

Harp's a Breeze is a fantastic option for introducing children to melody, and every student gets their very own brand new harmonica!

“… A highlight was watching groups of students sitting around the school yard during lunch time, playing what they had just learned and trying new songs from their harmonica booklet. An incursion not to be missed!
